Introduction

Duopharma was established as a pharmaceutical trading company in 1979. Its business then was the import and marketing of pharmaceutical products. It started manufacturing tables, capsules and oral preparations in 1986.

In 1995, Duopharma shifted to its present premises - a 85,000 sq.ft factory situated on a 130,000 sq.ft. It started production of heamodialysis liquid in January 1996 and this was followed a month later with the production of small volume injectables including eye drops, antibiotic powder and dental cartridges. In July that same year, it started volume infusion production.

Duopharma manufactures 350 approved items which include tablets, capsules, cream, sterile injectables, powders, small volume injectables, haemodialysis liquid and eye drop preparations. It supplies 60 items to government hospitals and exports to Singapore, Brunei. Myammar, Papua New Guinea, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Yemen.
