Introduction Ain Medicare is a fully integrated pharmaceutical complex in Kota Bahru, Kelantan, which was built in January 1995. The complex was officiated by the Prime Minister Dato' Seri Dr. Mahathir Mohamad in 1997. The RM20 million complex consists of a population floor, laboratories, warehouse and administrative office. The production floor consists of clean rooms Class 1000 and 10,000. The laboratory which is divided into two sections - microbiological and analytical - are fitted with the latest testing equipment. The Ain Medicare Pharmaceutical Complex has been certified with Good Manufacturing Practice by the National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau, Ministry of Health, Malaysian since 1995. Being the first fully Malaysian owned company in the production of large volume parenterals, Ain Medicare is poised to be one of the major producers to meet the country's increasing needs for the products. Ain Medicare is constantly upgrading its product quality and facilities and also diversifying its product range. It is also open to proposals for cooperation with other companies and research centres in R&D and contract manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. Mission Statement
